hey i havent posted on this thing in a while

heres the scoop

i got a mac sometime around my last post, and i installed windows and tf2 on it. tf2 is an awesome game and i've played almost nightly for two months or so now. that's kind of sad actually but who cares i'm having fun. i am a pretty damn good sniper at this point and its fun making people angry because i keep killing them. (see: roz, kenji, strucci)

more importantly, i'm at college. The College of New Jersey. i've been here for a month now so let me vomit some feelings at you

basically i'm just being a whiny bitch right now and you should just ignore this post, but this is whats up with me if you're interested (you weren't).

on an unrelated note, i need to really work on making up stories and drawing more. i've been completely off that game.

so 2008 is over, huh

well um i guess this year was mostly based around COLLEGE for me, in that i had to find, tour, and apply to a bunch. that road has led to me being accepted to cincinnati, which is where i really want to go and should be going to next year if all goes well. that whole process was fucking awful, but its MOSTLY over now (gotta go back to cincy and do some scholarship competition thing in february). the fucking pain that went into applying better be worth it, college!

what else happened

school is school, not a whole lot different there. its been same old all year, junior and senior years, hanging out with the same small group of dudes. it's cool i guess. i cant wait to get out of here though and reall have some sort of social life in college though.

uhh

oh also i got my license basically right at the start of the year so ive been driving for a year now and id say im pretty good at it i guess im glad i have my own car ive got my parents to thank for that. ill have my full license in a few days so i can drive more than one person so that should be fun.

sports happened! and to that i say, fuck sports!

i love them but they sure seem to hate me. harvick goes winless, economy is fucking nascar over big-time and im really worried about the future of the sport. fuck jimmie johnson, too. football: fucking bucs god dammit. worst collapse EVER. hrrg. they better have one hell of an offseason. oh, but last year's super bowl was excellent. one of the best of all time, and the best i've ever seen. baseball: yankees! what can i say. you did shitty this year. i got to see the last game at yankees stadium, that was great. next year is looking up for them, what with all those dang signings, and the new stadium which i am pumped up to see.

so thats 2008 in a nutshell, i suppose. 2009 looks to be a life-changing year for me. facing the prospect of moving so far away from home is daunting, but im going for it anyway. leaving behind my hometown and all the people ive known for 18 years and 3 days is a scary thing i guess. but whatever. good times ahead, hopefully!
